How to use the Stay AI URL Builder

With URL Builder, you can build Quick Actions and Pre-filled Checkout links easily so you can increase retention and acquisition efforts.

Quick Actions

Quick Actions are links that allow a customer to take a specific as they log into the Stay AI app. They can be used across a variety of platforms but are most commonly used in Klaviyo, either in Campaigns to Subscribers or Flows based on common subscription metrics.

Creating a Quick Action

1. Select your Platform.

  • URL builder is compatible with creating Quick Actions for:

    • Klaviyo

    • Postscript Automations

    • Attentive Journeys

    • Stay AI Emails

    • Custom Platforms

2. Select the Use Case (Klaviyo & Custom)

  • Some platforms can be used for Campaigns or targeting Customers generically, whereas other platforms respond off of triggers and can only be used to target subscriptions.

3. Select your action

  • The following actions are available:

    • Skip Order

    • Apply Discount

    • Reactivate Subscription

    • Reactivate Subscription and Apply Discount

    • Add Item

    • Add Item and Apply Discount

    • Swap Item

    • Change Frequency

    • Swap Item and Change Frequency

    • Get It Now

    • View Portal (Klaviyo only)

4. Select your product(s) OR Enter the relevant information

  • When adding products to subscriptions, you can specify whether you would like to add them as a one-time product or subscription.

5. Click Copy the URL to Clipboard.

6. Send it!

Please make sure to test the URL before sending it to customers! Misclicks and typos happen to the best of us.

If you would like to test a URL outside of a platform, you can replace the email and subscription ID variables in the link or create that link using the Custom Platform while entering your email and subscription ID information.

A few notes

  • Frequency can never be less than 7 days.

  • Shopify's Automatic Discounts are not compatible with Quick Action links.

  • Swapping a product does not swap the selling plan, so you shouldn't use swap when trying to swap someone's product to or from a prepaid or bundle.

Checkout Link Builder

The checkout link builder allows you to create prefilled carts that link directly to your Shopify checkout.

These links are great for landing pages, email campaigns, blogs, or any webpage or communication where you are trying to acquire subscribers (or just one-time customers).

Creating a Checkout Link

1. Select a Product.

You'll see a list of all products and their variants in your store. Find the product you are looking for, select the modal, and click add.

2. Once the product is added, you can select from any non-bundle selling plan groups assigned to the product.

If a product only has bundle selling plans or no selling plan at all, you won't see the Add as Subscription slider.

3. Once you select the selling plan group, select the selling plan. You'll see the amount off and the frequency displayed next to the Checkout/Cart label.

4. Set the quantity of the product.

5. Add additional products. You can see this product is not available for subscription.

6. Add a discount.

7. Copy the URL and give it a test.

8. Success! You are ready to embed this link wherever you'd like!

Please Note

The URL builder is not compatible with our bundles as we cannot pass the necessary line items in the URL.
