Announcing an exciting partnership between Stay AI and Inveterate, to bring your loyalty experience to the next level!

We are happy to announce that we have launched a Stay AI x Inveterate integration! You can now combine subscription and membership rewards to create a powerhouse program for your users.

How Do I Set Up My Integration?

  1. Navigate to the Integrations page on the Stay AI Merchant Portal

  2. Click "Integrate with Stay AI"

  3. Input your private API key, found in the Inveterate portal

  4. Click "Save"

Once the integration has been processed successfully, Inveterate and Stay are now connected! Stay will automatically detect any existing subscribers who also have a membership.

Note: any membership tiers, benefits, or discount settings need to be configured within the Inveterate portal. Once the integration is complete, Stay will consume whatever settings are configured via Inveterate.

What Does This Mean for My Subscription Platform?

Let's say you're an active Inveterate user. You've set up your Merchant Tiers, configured your membership rewards, and determined which products are available for Early Access. All of these benefits are now accessible and manageable via the Stay AI Customer Portal, and any members who are also subscribers will be visible within the Stay Merchant Portal.

Once your integration is complete, you can see all active subscribers who are also members directly within the merchant portal.

See Member tags on both the Customers and Subscriptions pages. Additionally, see the start date of the customer's membership, as well as any credit balance available on the Subscription Details page.

The Stay AI x Inveterate integration gives your customers a one-stop shop to manage their subscriptions and access their membership benefits.

Early Access Products

Inveterate allows merchants to configure collections within Shopify and classify them as "early access products" accessible only to your members.

Now, within Stay, you can expose these early-access products on the Membership page in the Customer Portal. Give your most loyal subscribers exclusive sneak peeks at products you're not ready to share with everyone else yet.

Subscribers can add the early access product to any active subscription, and the product will apply as a one-time add-on to their upcoming order.

Credit Application and Redemption

Inveterate allows you to configure multiple types of credit allocation for members. Stay will consume these settings and apply credits as set in the Inveterate portal:

  • Sign-Up Store Credits - applies a standing credit for when a customer signs up for a membership

  • Recurring Store Credits - applies on a set cadence

  • Credits for Orders - applies when a member successfully completes an order, including subscription purchases

  • Anniversary Credits - applies when the anniversary of a membership occurs

  • Store Credits for Purchase Referral - applies when members refer their friends to your store

Any credits that are applied to the customer will be displayed on their membership page. Additionally, members will have access to a Credit Ledger, where they can see credit accruals and applications throughout their purchase journey.

When your customers are ready to apply their credits, they will select Redeem Credits at the top of their membership page.

They will then select the number of credits they would like to use at that time, generating a coupon code that equates to the selected amount. They can then apply this coupon code to their subscription purchase!

πŸ”΄ Please Note! πŸ”΄ You need to enable discounts to apply to Both One Time and Subscription purchases for the credit redemption to be successful in the Stay Customer Portal. You can do so in the Inveterate portal under Settings.

Cancelling a Membership

If your subscribers no longer want access to their Inveterate benefits, they can cancel their membership directly within the customer portal. They will receive an Inveterate cancellation email to confirm.
