Stay AI X Gorgias gives your CX managers a streamlined experience when handling subscriber support tickets!

The Stay AI X Gorgias integration allows you to manage your CX tickets directly in Gorgias. Once the integration is fully set up, tickets will open seamlessly in Stay and Gorgias.

This integration helps your employees take action on subscriptions directly within the Gorgias portal.

Integrating Stay AI and Gorgias

You can enable an integration between Gorgias and Stay AI from either the Gorgias app store or the Stay AI Merchant Portal.

Setting Up the integration from the Gorgias app store

  1. Navigate to the Gorgias App Store.

  2. Search for Stay AI.

  3. Click Connect your Stay AI Account.

  4. You will be taken to the integrations page within the Stay AI Merchant Portal.

  5. You will see the details for your Gorgias account populated. If there are any issues with the information you see, please integrate it through the Stay AI Merchant Portal.

  6. Click Install.

    1. You have now successfully set up the Stay AI X Gorgias Integration!

Setup steps from the Stay AI Merchant Portal

  1. Navigate to the Stay AI Merchant Portal

  2. Navigate to the Integrations page

  3. Click Integrate with Stay AI on the Gorgias modal

  4. Input the subdomain that you use on your Gorgias URL, your Gorgias API Key (found on the Gorgias portal), and your Gorgias User Email Address

  5. Click Save.

    1. You have now successfully set up the Stay AI X Gorgias Integration!

How to test the integration

  1. Opt-in to subscription management via SMS through your customer portal.

  2. You should receive an opt-in message and a welcome message.

  3. Reply Menu.

  4. When prompted with menu options, reply with the option to speak to a human.

  5. Log in to your Gorgias account to confirm whether a ticket has been opened in Gorgias.

  6. If you "Cancel" the subscription, it should reflect as canceled within Stay and Shopify.

  7. If you "Pause" the subscription, it should open the subscription view in Stay, where you can Pause.

  8. If you "Skip Next Order," it should reflect the updated next shipment date in Stay.

  9. If you "Reactivate" the subscription, it should reflect as active within Stay and Shopify.

After You Integrate

On the Stay AI Portal

Merchants are able to view opened tickets in Stay AI’s Customer Conversations tab. Merchants can Open or Close a ticket via Customer Conversations, which will be reflected in Gorgias.

On the Gorgias Portal

You can now search for subscribers and take action on their account if they have opened a ticket in Gorgias! Stay AI dynamically passes the following data so it is accessible in the Gorgias portal:

  • Customer Name

  • Email

  • Subscription ID

  • Shopify ID

  • Stay ID

  • Next Billing Date

  • # of Lines on the subscription

  • Product Details of the lines on the subscription

Subscription-related actions customer support representatives can complete in Gorgias include

  • Skip Next Order

  • Cancel Subscriptions

  • Reactivate Subscriptions

  • Edit the Shipping Address on the upcoming order

  • Set Next Billing Date

  • Pause Subscription Until a Specific Date
